Luminescence Hair Studio was born from a simple belief that every person deserves to leave the salon feeling truly seen. Founded in the heart of Toormina, we've built a space where artistry meets genuine care and a place where your hair goals become our mission.

Family comes first for Deb, and that warmth is what the salon is built on. She's been hairdressing for 27 years, opened Luminescence in April 2022 and is a Keune master colourist. She's known for a great cut and for blends that look beautifully natural. When she's not at the salon, she's with her dogs or dancing.

Mikayla has been hairdressing for 12 years and has been with us for the last two. Blondes and bright, bold colours are what she loves most, and she completed a Keune master class in 2025. Away from the salon she loves a chai latte, building 4D puzzles and spending time with her dog Scar.

Six years behind the chair and still learning, Trinity finished her apprenticeship in two years and joined us when we opened in April 2022. Blonde work and complete makeovers are what she enjoys most. Ask her about her car or her favourite colour, which is pink.

Our newest apprentice, Jess joined Luminescence in April 2026. She's known for a wonderful shampoo and head massage, and she's perfecting her blow drying skills. Keep an eye out for her as she grows with the team.

SALON ASSISTANT (CASUAL)
Izzy started her hairdressing apprenticeship in 2025 before heading off to pursue another career. She now works with us casually as our salon assistant. Her bubbly personality and great shampoos make everyone feel welcome.
